Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said the airstrikes hit a market too in which at least five children were killed and the death toll could rise further.

It is not yet clear whether the strikes were carried out by the Syrian warplanes or that of the Russian as both are operating in the area.

The Russian warplanes started air strikes last year to support Syrian President Bashar al-Assad against the rebels and against ISIS too in separate areas.

Idlib is a stronghold of rebel groups and in another air strikes in the town of Maarat al-Numan about six people were killed.

In recent weeks heavy bombardment were seen in several areas of the Idlib province.

Last month about 23 people were killed in the province by air raids.

Syria is under civil war for past five years.
